Social Forestry Day in Bhutan

June 2nd is a National Holiday to commemorate the Official Crowning of the Fourth King of Bhutan, His Majesty Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck in 1974. This day is also celebrated as Social Forestry Day where school children plant trees. We let our every children to plant each tree and need to take care after their own tree at Karma Leksheyling school in Bhutan.

不丹植樹節

6月2日是紀念不丹第四任國王官方加冕的國訂假日,他於1974年被稱為吉格梅·辛格·旺楚克陛下。這一天也被稱為植樹節,學校兒童會在這天種植樹木。我們讓每個孩子都在不丹的噶嗎列些林學校種一棵樹,並且負責照顧他們自己種的樹。

Fence

Most of the children are very young and they are always happy to play but we are always worry that they may fall down. Last year we put the wooden fence but it is not strong enough after one year. Finally, this year we decided to put the steel fence. We wish that we can protect them from falling to the lower realm as well.
