Buddha statue reached on 5th of November

Statue of Lord Buddha Shakya Muni started to make on 1st of December 2017 in Nepal and today finally reached to Karma Leksheyling School in Bhutan. Many thanks to everyone who supported on the work. Our students are doing daily prayer in the shrine room and they will now know who is Buddha and how he looks like. May all sentient beings become soon like Buddha.

June 2 is the coronation day of Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the 4th King of Bhutan (1974). It also doubles as Social Forestry Day, where children plant trees.
At Karma Leksheyling School, our children plant the trees and each of everyone are responsible to take care their own tree until it grown up.
